Searching
This section details the searching features of EXALEAD OnePart in the 3DDashboard.
Access the OnePart search box
Users must maximize the widget in the 3DDashboard to access the Search in Current Dashboard. This allows users to search only in the OnePart sources.
Perform a search
Users search for files in OnePart by selecting Search in Current Dashboard and then entering search terms such as handles.
Search by upload
Users search for parts with similar shapes in OnePart by dragging a file into the search results panel.
OnePart displays the parts with similar shapes in the results panel.
Filtering by tags
Users refine the search results by clicking the tag icon
. The tag menu allows users to sort tags, for example, in alphabet, frequency or logical order. Users can also search within the tags.
Facets include tags such as:
• OnePart specific tags: Material, Design Features, etc.
• Who: Last saved by
• When: creation and modification date
• What: file extension, family and component type
• Where: data sources

Users can add their own tags to a single part using the tag icon

OnePart allows you to sort by: Relevance, Group count, Popularity, Latest, File name and Dimension.
